“Mom told me she had changed her burial plans and decided to be cremated based on Murray's teachings about the body going back to Dust based on Eccl.12: 6-11 (as Murray teaches it)”…
Ann has a problem with that? I guess she never read Gen. 3:19 or Psalms 104:28-29, as well as Eccl. 12:7, which clearly states the separation between flesh and spirit at death.
“…The Trinity was pagan “
On that point, either her mother got it wrong or Ranting Ann is making that up, as Murray has NEVER taught anything like that.
“…Satan’s kids are the Kenites.”
This is not any unique doctrine, as Ann alludes to. Check out any concordance for the word Kenite, and it says ‘sons of Cain.’ In addition, if one reads her ridiculous testimonial, it quickly becomes apparent that she believes in a literal ‘apple and talking snake version’ (interpretation) of Genesis. This is very good evidence towards establishing the depth (shallowness) of her Biblical knowledge.
Ann went on to say, “She kept repeating that it wasn't an Apple, and they didn't cover their mouths--they covered their loins!” I guess Ann never read Genesis 3:7 “ …they sowed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.”
Ann must believe Adam and Eve wore aprons on their heads. By the way, apple is never mentioned in Genesis, nor is the word snake. Serpent is, but that does not mean it was a snake. We’ll leave it at that for now.
“…If you didn’t know the “Song of Moses” you weren’t one of the elect.”
The Song of Moses is Deuteronomy 32:1-43. Pastor Murray says we should be familiar with it, but never has he said anyone should memorize it and if you don’t know it you would not be considered part of the “elect.”
Ann told her mother: “I explained how HE reads the verse and after, he puts HIS own interpretation into the meaning of the verse!”
Sounds like she had it all figured out. Murray certainly has his own opinions, but always says they are his opinions. Most of what he explains is Hebrew figures of speech, and other necessary FACTS that the Bible student needs to know. Anyone who has studied Textual Criticism would know the methodology.
“I asked her to get the CRI article on Arnold Murray…”
Ann recommends what may possibly be the biggest pack of lies ever leveled at a modern Bible teacher. The Christian Research Institute has absolutely no credibility, and it would not take much for anyone to prove that to themselves by researching the CRI on the ‘net.
The CRI article is the infallible treatise on Pastor Murray, according to all the anti-Chapel mocking birds that have plagiarized the outlandish allegations mentioned in it on their websites.
In closing, they are certainly birds of a feather, flocking together, all leaving the same white stains on the same fence.
